About Me

Dear Couple.  After working in a health and practice management role for 20 years, both here and in the UK I felt it time for something new and fate led me here -Thank you universe!

I was listening to Triple J and there was a lot of talk about the civil celebrant  program at the time, one of the speakers said ” Civil celebrants are regular members of the community who should not be judgmental” and I thought “that’s me! “

Now, instead of holding people’s hands through pain I hold them through love. Surprisingly there are a lot of similarities in the roles-you and your needs come first and my passion for people remains a constant.

I became a celebrant in 2007 and it the best, most rewarding and fulfilling roles- I was born for it.

Why Julie is perfect for you

Having witnessed over 1,500 people wed over a decade, I have experienced one constant throughout:  my passion for people.  I love what I do and continue to grow in my role.

I want to help you to realise your vision for your day.  Variety is the spice of life – and of a memorable wedding.  No two ceremonies are the same, just as no two relationships are.

I also try to bring a cheerful calm to each occasion, and a respect for couples’ unique needs.   Getting married should be exciting and fun.  But it is still a serious occasion, with a lot of emotions involved.

Because it is a one-time event, I consider it important to be versatile and understanding.  I am flexible and easygoing, but professional.  I am available for ceremonies seven days a week, from dawn till midnight.
